Skånes konstförening is part of the Erlandssonska konstfonden’s board whose purpose is to fund public art works in the region of Vollsjö.

On Sunday, 5 May, the konstfonden inaugurated their latest donation at the Pumphuset in Vollsjö. Thale Vangen’s sculpture “Morgonens bleka Ijus kämpade med natten” portrays a creature between reality and fiction, and refers to the pirate classic “Bombi Bitt och jag” from 1932, written by Fritjof Nilsson.

The sculpture is now permanently installed on site.
