Seved’s open studio for kids & youth is back!
Every Wednesday from 22 April – 10 June between 15–17, we invite children and youths to a series of creative workshops together with the artist Sarah Nakiito at Fryshuset Seved.
Seved’s Open Studio is a place where you can experiment with different materials and leave your creations until the next time. This year we will focus on stories, memories and community through textiles and art.
Seved’s Open Studio is made possible with support from Postkodlotteriet Foundation, supporting projects for vibrant, open and accessible neighbourhoods across Sweden.
Using Ugandan barkcloth, fabric, paper and balloons, we express both personal and shared experiences. Through drawing, writing and experimentation you get to explore how memories manifest in symbolism, objects and collective creation. Together we’ll build a communal artwork that grows gradually with time – a work about care, resistance, fantasy and shared experiences.
Skånes konstförening’s pedagogical projects in Seved are realised in collaboration with MKB, Red Cross and Fryshuset.
Kick-off during Easter break: 1–2 April 12:00–15:00 at Sevedsplan, together with KKV Grafik.
Welcome to a creative workshop with KKV Grafik, this Easter break. Together we’ll explore different printing methods and make our very own cyanotopes.
Drop-in from 12:00.
