The Board of Skånes konstförening is pleased to announce the joint appointment of Tawanda Appiah as Artistic Director and Janneke Schoene as Administrative Director, following a period of internal restructuring. Together, they will assume shared responsibility for framing the artistic programme and the organisational development of the association. Ebba Davidsson joins the team as Producer and Communications Coordinator, supporting the production of exhibitions and events while leading the institution’s communications.

The new team looks forward to working together and shaping the role of Skånes konstförening in Malmö and the region.

Ebba Davidsson is a Swedish art historian with a background in museum work, shaping her roles across exhibition production, mediation, archival processes, and international artistic exchange.

Janneke Schoene is a researcher with a PhD in Art History who has worked internationally as a lecturer, pedagogue, and curator, and has been part of Skånes konstförening since 2018. 

Tawanda Appiah is a Zimbabwean curator, writer, and researcher based in Sweden whose decade-long practice spans contemporary art exhibitions and public interventions in local and international contexts.
