Melanie Kitti in conversation with Johanne Lykke Naderehvandi
Saturday 17 May 2025, 13.00–14.30
This event is part of the public programme for our current exhibition, You could cut it with a knife: Hanni Kamaly, Melanie Kitti. It will be held in Swedish.
A conversation about the archaeology of the personal: About digging up memories and restoring them in order to display them, as in a museum. About telling the same story in various ways, using different materials—for what distinguishes a narrative told in a poem from one conveyed through a fresco?
A conversation about spells: Can one use spells as an artistic/literary method to evoke images of a better world, where there are no hierarchies? And what does it mean to write in codes?
