Together with photographer Ikram Abdulkadir (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ikramianism\/\"><em>@ikramianism<\/em><\/a>), we are making the new issue, which will be accompanied by a public program and a release party later in the Fall.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><em>SAKINA<\/em> is a biannual magazine that started in 2018 with the intention to create a plattform for young creative Muslim women in Scandinavia and more specifically a space where the representation of Muslim women isn\u2019t about fitting a stereotyp or breaking one.<br \/><br \/>We are looking for submissions by creative Muslim women worldwide to feature in our next issue. The submissions can range from art and photography to short stories, poetry or articles. Make sure to tag and share with your creative friends!<br \/><br \/>Guidelines:<br \/>\u2013 For young creative Muslim women, 25 years old or younger.<br \/>\u2013 It can range from art and photography to short stories, poetry or articles<br \/>\u2013 All accepted submissions will receive a fee of SEK 999. <br \/>\u2013 Deadline October 1<br \/><br \/>How to submit:<br \/>Send an email to <a href=\"mailto:sakinamagazine@outlook.com\">sakinamagazine@outlook.com<\/a> with your full name, contact info, and your text or artwork.<br \/><br \/>For any questions, please send an email or DM us <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sakinamagazine\/\">@sakinamagazine<\/a>.<br \/><br \/>Best of luck,<br \/><em>SAKINA<\/em><\/p>\r\n<h4><br \/><br \/>About the collaboration<\/h4>\r\n<p>The collaboration between Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening and <em>SAKINA<\/em> started when Ikram Abdulkadir was awarded The Sven and Ellida Hjort Exhibition Grant in 2019\/2020. <em>SAKINA<\/em> edited the artist publication <em>We Will Meet Again in Paradise<\/em> for Abdulkadir\u2019s exhibition. The publication included the works presented at Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening, as well as texts and poetry by Liban Abdule, Matthew Rana and the artist herself.
