Through a slow, material-oriented process, he builds works from collected and found materials \u2013 wood, acrylic compound, silicone, glue, and others. These are gradually brought together into sculptural forms that come to life between figures and objects, human, animal, and something less defined. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The artist talk is organised by KONSTITORI, a platform for public encounters with artists who use food and edible materials as a medium, material, or subject matter. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KONSTITORI will serve carrot cake and coffee, on the house.fika. Free admission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Max Ockborn<\/strong> (b. 1983) is a Malm\u00f6-based artist holding an MFA in Fine Arts as well as a Master&#8217;s degree in Critical and Educational Studies from Malm\u00f6 Art Academy. Although his practice is primarily sculptural, it also encompasses text, video, and sound.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ockborn\u2019s work has been widely exhibited at venues such as Krognoshuset, Malm\u00f6 Art Museum, Cultural Documents in Italy, R\u00f6da Sten Konsthall, Moderna Museet Malm\u00f6, Skissernas Museum, Bonniers Konsthall, Kalmar Art Museum, and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. He has also completed public art commissions for G\u00f6teborg Konst and Stockholm Konst. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His work is represented in the collections of Malm\u00f6 Art Museum, Skissernas Museum, the Swedish Public Art Agency (Statens konstr\u00e5d), Stockholm Konst, G\u00f6teborg Konst, Region Sk\u00e5ne, Region Uppsala, and the Maria Bonnier Dahlin Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maxockborn.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.maxockborn.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>KONSTITORI<\/strong> is a platform founded byJanneke Schoene in 2024. It highlights artists who use food and other edible materials to communicate ideas and create encounters with audiences in which experiences and memories connected to taste, smell, and texture can be shared.
