\n<\/span>About the artist <\/b>
\n<\/b>Sarah Nakiito is an artist and designer active in Malm\u00f6. Her artistic practice moves between textiles, performance, installation and film. She explores the connections between body, material and stories, and textile techniques become tools to approach questions of cultural heritage and identity. Nakiito’s work takes shape in the meeting between thought and matter, where reflections on colonial and patriarchal historiography constitute a recurring driving force. <\/span>

\n<\/span>About the workshops\/festival <\/b>
\n<\/b>During the summer, Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening presents a series workshops at Sevedsplan\/Summer square in connection with the Seved festival, in collaboration with Red Cross, Fryshuset and MKB with support from Malm\u00f6 City. The summer square in Seved is installed from June to September. Sk\u00e5nes Konstf\u00f6rening is supported by Malm\u00f6 City, Region Sk\u00e5ne and the Swedish Arts Council.<\/span><\/p>\n
