Welcome to KKV Monumental\u2019s first Artist Talk of the year with Isabella Solar Villaseca. We will meet at 18.30 for the guided tour of \u201cUnderstr\u00f6mmar och strider\u201d at Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening. The Artist Talk starts at 19:00 PM at KKV Monumental.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cStarting from the archive, I explore how history, politics, and architecture shape our present. Focusing on archival material\u2014both private and public\u2014I look back at history in my works and how we carry it within us. For me, this retrospective view is an important reminder of why we stand where we stand and where we come from. I create works in the space between the concrete, the theatrical, and the poetic, where collective experience and the spaces we inhabit are central.\u201d<\/span>
\n<\/span>Isabella Solar Villaseca <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/b>Isabella Solar Villaseca <\/b>(b. 1992, based in Malm\u00f6 and Copenhagen) works with installation, sculpture, text, and video. She was educated at the Art Academy in Bergen and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. She has previously exhibited at Overgaden, Vermilion Sand, and the Latvian Center for Contemporary Art.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>Address: Bragegatan 15. The exhibition at Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening is open from 13:00, and the guided tour begins at approximately 18:30. The Artist Talk starts at 19:00 at KKV Monumental, where drinks and light refreshments will be served.
\n<\/span>Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening is located on the second floor, and KKV Monumental on the third floor. An elevator is available to the left of the entrance on the ground level. An accessible restroom (HWC) is available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
