What shapes the surroundings? Come photograph with us, print your images, and keep working with them in fun and creative ways!<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the end-of-season of Seved\u2019s Open Studio! This workshop with Malm\u00f6-based artist Ikram Abdulkadir is presented in collaboration with the series <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beautiful Experiments<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which will continue to unfold over the autumn and winter.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>About the artist<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ikram Abdulkadir (born 1995) is a Swedish-Somali photographer whose documentary work captures life in urban environments and at home, often focusing on themes of care and collectivity. Abdulkadir\u2019s work is featured in major collections such as Moderna Museet and Gothenburg Art Museum. Raised in Malm\u00f6\u2019s Roseng\u00e5rd neighbourhood, her upbringing has been a central theme in her artistic practice.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Seveds \u00f6ppna<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the Spring of 2025, Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening invites to an open studio at Sevedsplan with support of Grannskapsinitiativet\u2013Svenska Postkodlotteriets Stiftelse and in collaboration with MKB, Red Cross and Fryshuset, organised by Janneke Schoene.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Beautiful Experiments<\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beautiful Experiments <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a series of meditations by artists and art practitioners. It unravels form, unbuttons language, and embraces process as its central methodology.
