You can now nominate a Sk\u00e5ne-based artist for the Sven and Ellida Hjorts exhibition grant! We are looking for practices that you find relevant and convincing. Your nomination can be long or short, in depth or just a brief statement.<\/span><\/p>\n Since 2017, Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening annually awards an emerging artist with the Sven and Ellida Hjorts exhibition grant. <\/span>Former recipients include Hanni Kamaly, LealVeileby, Ikram Abdulkadir, Cia Kanthi, Sana Jarrar, Matilda Tj\u00e4der, Stacey de Voe and Simon Ferner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The grant includes a stipend of 25 000 SE K and a solo exhibition at Sk\u00e5nes konstf\u00f6rening in the beginning of 2026. The recipient is elected by a jury from our board that will contact nominated artists from their shortlist for studio visits in June. The final recipient will be announced during summer 2025. <\/span><\/p>\n Please note that only emerging artists based in Sk\u00e5ne can be nominated.
